The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Workforce Development intern. This summer internship requires 20-25 hours of on-site work per week.The ideal candidate will have a base-level understanding of research development tools and be enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business or a related field. Our unpaid workforce development internship program provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on research and planning experience. The intern will work with our Vice President of Workforce Development & Government Relations to develop and implement a strategic workforce development plan.Duties & Responsiblities-Understand and communicate the structure, goals and strategic mission of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce-Assist with comprehensive data collection and research compilation-Conduct market research to influence strategic initiatives-Responsibly communicate with Chamber members regarding current business demography and statistics-Organize and enter data points into Excel or another data collection software-Assist with the implementation of a workforce development platformQualifications-Enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business or a related field-Strong verbal and written communication skills-Excellent research and analytical skills-Excellent proficiency in Excel-Ability to manage multiple projects and work independentlyTo apply for a Chandler Chamber internship, share your resume & requested position with Carly@chandlerchamber.com.
