The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Workforce Development intern. This summer internship requires 20-25 hours of on-site work per week.The ideal candidate will have a base-level understanding of research development tools and be enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business or a related field. Our unpaid workforce development internship program provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on research and planning experience. The intern will work with our Vice President of Workforce Development & Government Relations to develop and implement a strategic workforce development plan.Duties & Responsiblities- Understand and communicate the structure, goals and strategic mission of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce- Assist with comprehensive data collection and research compilation- Conduct market research to influence strategic initiatives- Responsibly communicate with Chamber members regarding current business demography and statistics- Organize and enter data points into Excel or another data collection software- Assist with the implementation of a workforce development platformQualifications- Enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business or a related field- Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent research and analytical skills; excellent proficiency in Excel; ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
