Job DescriptionTo plan and carry out research-driven workforce development initiatives, talent pipeline projects, and data-based strategies that strengthen the local labor market and support the growth of the Chandler business community. Collect and analyze workforce data, collaborate with employers and educational partners, and support the development and coordination of programs that enhance the Chamber’s workforce presence, promote employer engagement, and expand access to talent resources. Assist in building workforce platforms and tools, produce workforce reports and insights, support roundtables and events, and contribute to other projects as assigned.Your analytical thinking, curiosity, and strategic mindset will be essential in shaping our workforce narrative, elevating the Chamber’s role in regional talent development, improving communication with members on workforce needs, and supporting business growth through innovative talent solutions. Ideal candidates for this role should be: detail-oriented, data-savvy, proactive, highly organized, strong communicators, and eager to develop forward-thinking strategies.Duties will include: conducting labor market and industry research, gathering and managing workforce data, supporting the implementation of workforce programs and digital platforms, preparing reports and insights, coordinating workforce-focused meetings and events, assisting in employer and stakeholder engagement, and streamlining workflow and data processes.Other Responsibilities- Conduct research to support workforce strategies and chamber initiatives.- Collect, analyze, and organize workforce and business data using Excel or similar tools.- Support strategic workforce projects, including talent pipeline programs, business engagement efforts, and education partnerships.- Help coordinate engagement with employers, educators, and community partners to support workforce initiatives.- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding workforce data, business demographics, and program opportunities.- Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate key insights to internal teams and external stakeholders.- Support workforce-related events, roundtables, and meetings as needed.- Assist with tracking outcomes, milestones, and deliverables related to workforce development goals.Position Requirements- Degree in Business, Public Policy, Economics, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- High proficiency with Excel and data management.- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.- Interest in workforce development, talent pipeline strategy, economic development, or community engagement is preferred.This is a project-based position with the potential for additional work as future projects arise.Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter with salary requirements and resume to info@chandlerchamber.com.
