Practical Nursing Instructor: Classroom and/or Clinicals - Adult Workforce Development. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Great Oaks Career Campuses' Health Professions Academy is seeking dedicated part-time faculty members to provide instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings for their adult practical nursing program. Responsibilities include: Delivering engaging and effective instruction in lab, clinical, and classroom; Developing and preparing high-quality lesson plans aligned with curriculum and objectives; Conducting comprehensive student evaluations; Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of an approved registered nursing education program; At least two years of practice as a registered nurse; Specialty experience (med-surg, pediatrics, maternity, mental health) a plus; Functional abilities for classroom/clinical/lab instruction; Excellent communication, analytical, teaching, and classroom management skills; BSN preferred (ADN or RN diploma with relevant experience considered); Current, valid Ohio RN license. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Maintain academic standards; collaborate with faculty; supervise and evaluate students in clinicals; develop teaching materials; communicate objectives; maintain currency in nursing practice and education; regular and reliable attendance. EXPERIENCE: Registered Nurse: 2 years (Required); BSN preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current, unencumbered, valid Ohio RN nursing license required. LOCATION: Health Professions Academy at Scarlet Oaks Career Campus. SCHEDULE: As Needed; Hours vary based on program needs. SALARY/PAY SCALE: $36.73 per hour (Benefits not included).
