Practical Nursing Instructor: Classroom and/or Clinicals - Adult Workforce DevelopmentGENERAL DESCRIPTION: Part-time faculty provide instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings for the adult practical nursing program. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, developing lesson plans, evaluating students, and maintaining records.REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:- Completion of an approved registered nursing education program- At least two years of RN practice- Two years' experience in med-surg, pediatrics, maternity, or mental health is a plus but not required- Functional abilities for classroom, clinical, and lab teaching- Excellent written/oral communication, analytical, teaching, and classroom management skills- BSN preferred; ADN or RN diploma with relevant experience considered- Current, valid Ohio RN licenseESSENTIAL DUTIES: Align instruction with objectives; collaborate with faculty; supervise/evaluate students in clinical settings; develop materials; maintain standards; attend meetings; maintain currency in practice.LOCATION: Health Professions Academy at Scarlet Oaks Career CampusSCHEDULE: As Needed; Hours vary based on program needsSALARY/PAY SCALE: $36.73 per hour (Benefits not included)APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Submit online application at www.greatoaks.com.
