Practical Nursing Instructor - Adult Workforce DevelopmentGENERAL DESCRIPTION:Great Oaks Career Campuses' Health Professions Academy is seeking dedicated full-time faculty members to provide instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings for their adult practical nursing program. Passion for student success and professional growth desired; specialty expertise a plus but not required.Primary responsibilities include:- Delivering engaging/effective instruction in lab, clinical, and classroom- Developing high-quality lesson plans aligned with curriculum- Conducting comprehensive student evaluations- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student recordsREQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:- Completion of an approved RN program- At least two years' RN experience- Two years' specialty experience a plus- Functional abilities for classroom/clinical/lab teaching- Excellent written/oral communication, analytical, teaching and classroom management skills- BSN preferred; ADN or RN diploma with relevant experience encouraged- Current, valid Ohio RN licenseESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES mirror those listed for the adjunct role, including alignment with objectives, teamwork, standards, clinical instruction planning and supervision, evaluation, curriculum development, adaptation of methods, committee participation, maintaining currency, student progress communication, administrative communication, other duties, and regular attendance.EXPERIENCE: RN 2 years (Required).
