About the Role
Join our Bay of Plenty team as a Talent Acquisition Advisor on a 6-month fixed term contract until November 2026.
You will work collaboratively with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and HR Colleagues to deliver positive recruitment outcomes. There are administrative aspects to the role, as well as coaching and offering advice: you will influence hiring managers to adopt effective talent practice and assist in the delivery of direct and inclusive recruitment and selection strategies.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Youll work alongside experienced colleagues, each managing their own portfolio aligned by workforce, while partnering with hiring managers to deliver high quality recruitment support.
The role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to broader recruitment initiatives and continuous improvement.

About you
The responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Adviser is to ensure we attract and hire the best employees, while coordinating the growth of a strong pipeline. To thrive in this role, you'll need to the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience of successful recruitment delivery, preferably within in-house or direct recruitment
- Ability to build effective working relationships to manage internal clients and expectations
- Ability to work well with people across all levels
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in setting your own direction, coupled with excellent decision-making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Confident administrative skills capable of using a variety of software
- Desire to learn and display Health NZ's values, including acting with integrity and displaying dedication to our colleagues, candidates, and communities
