About the Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver efficient and effective best practice recruitment, coordination and support of Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Northland District.

You will work within the RMO Unit, responsible for rostering and recruitment of Resident Medical Officers (House Officers, Senior House Officers and Registrars), as well as working closely with clinical services and managers to meet the operational needs of Te Tai Tokerau.

The RMO Unit is a collaborative, supportive group that maintains strong relationships across hospital services, professional bodies, and recruitment agencies to deliver a seamless and positive experience for RMOs.

  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Proven office experience in a team environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both verbal and written
  • A good team player with a positive attitude
