The position develops and implements strategies focused on business retention, expansion, and attraction (BRE), while cultivating strong relationships with businesses, developers, investors, and regional stakeholders. Serving as a strategic liaison between the Town and the business community, the Senior Specialist facilitates development projects, guides businesses through regulatory and permitting processes, removes barriers to investment, and advances revitalization and public private partnerships that strengthen Frederick's competitive position, expand the tax base, create quality jobs, and enhance the Town's economic vitality.
