The Mobile Chamber is an independent, non-profit business organization representing the Mobile region that works in cooperation with the City of Mobile, Mobile County, and the State of Alabama. It is operated by a staff of 42 and more than 1,000 volunteers with over 2,000 member businesses, representing over 88,000 employees. Comprised of a Board of Directors, a Board of Advisors, and an Executive Committee, the mission is simple and direct: "To serve as a progressive advocate for business needs to promote the Mobile area's economic well-being."
