Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center was founded in 1914. The MVESC covers 2,400 square miles – the largest education service region in Ohio. They partner with 16 school districts with more than 24,000 students in Southeast Ohio. At MVESC, we are always searching for innovative ways to provide educational opportunities. We are in a unique position to create partnerships that help us offer programs that address the needs and education of the whole child. As an MVESC member, you’ll have access to valuable advocacy, visibility, representation, networking, and learning opportunities. All MVESC employees hold education degrees, licenses, and certifications needed to function in each specialty area we provide. We require ongoing professional development for all MVESC staff, ensuring the center operations are current and best practice.
