Electrical Estimator
Overland Park, KS Area | $80K–$100K + Benefits
We’ve partnered with a well-established commercial electrical contractor in the Kansas City metro that is looking to add an Electrical Estimator to its preconstruction team.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with commercial electrical estimating experience who enjoys reviewing drawings, building accurate estimates, pricing materials/labor, and helping win profitable projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Prepare detailed electrical construction estimates
• Review drawings, specs, scopes, and bid documents
• Perform electrical takeoffs and pricing
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and specialty systems
• Request and compare vendor/subcontractor pricing
• Support budgeting, value engineering, and preconstruction pricing
• Build assumptions, clarifications, and risk notes
• Partner with project managers for clean project handoff
What We’re Looking For:
• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Commercial construction or electrical contracting background
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Experience pricing labor, materials, and equipment
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Trimble Accubid experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
